TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM

LAF classrooms are technologically equipped with a computer, internet, projector, and screen to support the classes, providing the following benefits:

1. Students are more interested in the class.

2. Graphic and interactive teaching.

3. Updated information from the internet.

4. Development of information search skills.

5. Dynamic interaction between teachers and students.

6. Practice through digital platforms with international recognition.

Students have the opportunity to develop and apply their knowledge in various apps, digital platforms, blogs, etc. in their projects and academic activities.

KINDER

In Kindergarten, teachers use technology to project academic platform activities, enhancing student interest and learning.

Elementary

In Elementary school, students learn how to use Google tools and use applications to develop their projects and academic activities.

Students in 4th and 5th grade integrate the use of Chromebooks into their classes to facilitate their learning. They also learn to program through Coding.

Jr. High

High school students use their chromebook on a daily basis to strengthen the knowledge acquired in class by making presentations, research and projects that will prepare them for their university and professional life. They use different platforms to develop their activities and learn programming through Coding and Python.

We have the DNS Server service that allows greater control of the information and Internet content consulted by students.

Students and teachers share notes, assignments, projects, etc. online.

I X L

IXL has three platforms, math, English grammar and science.

The math platform is used from Kindergarten through Junior High to practice exercises on topics seen in class and to reinforce specific areas. The grammar platform is used from 3rd through 9th grade to support the English Program. The Science platform is used from 4th to 8th grade to strengthen the science program.

IXL corrects students when they make mistakes and explains the correct procedure to ensure successful learning of the lesson.

DISCOVERY

It is a platform that has learning resources to support students in the academic programs of science, technology and social studies.

The Science platform is used in grades 6-9 to reinforce the content of the Science curriculum. The Coding platform is used by students in grades 4-9 to learn programming. The Social Studies platform is used in 7th and 8th grades, allowing students to expand and strengthen the knowledge acquired in Civics, History and Geography classes.

PREPARA-T

It's an online digital book, which aims to prepare and enable students to take the High School admission exams.

It's a manual with practice exercises in the area of Verbal Reasoning, where the ability to understand and interpret a reading is measured. Students acquire skills and knowledge, as well as the necessary confidence to take the admission exams.
