VALUES |
The objective is to form upright people by instilling ethical and moral values, as well as motivating self-esteem, empathy, and mutual respect among the LAF community.
Within the school calendar, the value of the month is indicated and teachers are trained to promote it and prevent bullying.

To support values and community living among students, three programs were created:
SuperKid
(Kinder)

Social Service

These programs seek to raise awareness and teach students
to live with values by practicing them daily.
SUPER KID (KINDER)
The program consists of recognizing and making each of the students feel special for a week, with the aim of integrating them, motivating their self-esteem and mutual respect. Each of the students will be a Super Kid for one occasion in the school year.
LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP
The program teaches our students the values with which our institution identifies, which are Empathy, Responsibility, Respect, Positivism, Generosity, Creativity, Love/Friendship, Honesty, Humility and Perseverance. The objective is to make students aware of the importance of harmony among everyone (students, staff, and community).
The program consists of recognizing LAF students who excel in the academic, behavioral, social and moral areas.
Every two months the most outstanding student in each classroom is distinguished as the winner of this program.
At the end of the school year, a LAF (Love And Friendship) Diploma is awarded to one winning student per grade.
This is the most important recognition that LAF gives to its students.
NET AND COBU
The NET and COBU programs foster a learning environment that promotes the development of social-emotional skills, virtues and formation in students. NET and COBU help develop 5 social-emotional skills:
- Self-awareness
- Self-regulation
- Autonomy
- Empathy
- Collaboration
Promote positive environments through social-emotional strategies that encourage the dynamism of virtues. Friendship, gratitude, constancy, obedience, honesty, joy, generosity, self-control, respect, responsibility.
Objectives and characteristics of our NET and COBU programs
The NET and COBU programs seek for our students to experience love and thus learn to relate positively with others.
It promotes that our students:
- Discover the great value they have in being a person.
- Discover the great value of others around them.
- Form relationships of love among them, that the child feels loved and that is what he/she freely gives to the people around him/her. And thus form a great chain of good hearts.
SOCIAL SERVICE
LAF organizes visits to charitable organizations in order to sensitize students to the needs of the community and to encourage social service. The aim is for the students to value their family and their environment through these community aids.

- "La Alianza Anticáncer" is supported with the daily collection of plastic caps, which are delivered monthly through a visit to the association. It is also supported by the donation of hair to make wigs for the benefit of their little patients.
- "Asilo Hermosa Provincia" is supported by inviting the elders to a monthly breakfast at LAF's facilities. Each Jr. High group is responsible for organizing a school reunion where they prepare different activities for them.
NUTRITION PROGRAM
LAF encourages good eating habits that help students' physical and mental development. The program promotes the eating of fruits and vegetables, teaching the advantages of a healthy diet.
LAF cafeteria offers a wide variety of nutritious and healthy dishes that support the program.
The Infirmary department keeps track of the weight, height, and body mass index of each of our students in order to monitor that they are within a healthy age range.

ECOLOGY PROGRAM
LAF is certified as a "Green School", as it promotes an ecological culture in its students and encourages the conservation of the planet.
"Recycling Day" has been implemented where PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) and HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) are collected.
Thanks to this program, the whole LAF Family actively participates in the benefit of our planet.
